If you haven’t started to build a healthier self yet, even though you have the time now that you’re retired, I understand. It’s tough to stay motivated. We all need encouragement to overcome inertia and procrastination. If doing this by ourselves was easy, we’d be doing it already, right?

Disclaimer: “Healthier” could involve exercise, eating, sleeping, meditating, strength training, drinking more water and so on. What healthy looks like, and feels like is your business and not mine. Our coaching sessions are a safe space. I’m not a medical professional and I will not judge your health or give you health advice. I’m here to help you follow through and keep going. I’m your coach.

How we can work together
The Process
As your coach I will gently get you started on a healthier path, by clarifying why getting healthier is important to you. What does healthy mean to you? How does it connect to your values? There will be some activities and self-reflections to complete on your own time throughout this process.

We will explore all the options open to you and assess their pros and cons in terms of your life situation. Reflecting on any past experiences with health goals, can reveal what gets in your way.
Then, you will set small realistic, manageable goals that are personalised and achievable.
Physical and/or mental health goals are maintained by learning ways to establish them as new habits: starting small, connecting them to established routines, and reducing the resistance.
While establishing your new habits, we will problem-solve, and identify any barriers that you come across. Together, we will support your consistency by celebrating your successes along the way.
This process can take at least 3 months.
If this approach to becoming healthier sounds good to you, let’s chat. I’d love to work with you.
